What does “offline Bible app” actually mean?
Some apps stream passage text or ask you to download a translation separately. Others include the text in the app. Before traveling, turn on airplane mode and check a chapter, a search, and a saved item. That quick test tells you more than an “offline” label by itself.

Which things still need a connection?

Your saves and notes are local to the device in the current Versomi app. There is no account or cloud sync for them today. Device backups may restore local data, but you should not rely on reinstalling the app as a way to recover it.

Install and open the app before you leave, choose the edition you want to read, and test it without service. If you use reminders, set them while your phone can grant notification permission. Keep a paper Bible or another backup if access is critical for a long trip.
